Headlight lense

I am looking for a headlight lense for a C220 - 1995. I am told that the lense is not sold separately in NA (apparently only in Europe). The full headlight assembly (including the lense) is $600 CAD; which seems a ridiculous expense given that it is only the lense that is cracked.
Any suggestions? Sources to find such an item?
Just trying to be frugal given that the car has 270,000 Km.
Much appreciated.

Are you sure? I know my 1998 headlamp set up is different, but I can order the lense separately, and it's "only" $145 CDN.

Try a few different dealers before searching elsewhere...

Thanks for the link Joseph. I will contact Capitol West. PP does not seem to have the lenses for C220.

John,
There is a difference between 1995 and 1998. According to the dealer you can not buy the lense only in Canada.

I highly recommend Xpel

targa,
Once you replace your headlight lens, you may want to look at installing a headlight shield from Xpel (www.xpel.com). I did it and it looks great and it protects headlights from stone cracks etc.. It’s not that expensive (~ $50) they’ll send you a kit for all your front lights. it is worth the money given the cost of replacing the lens or headlight.

Good Luck!

Removing old lense and replacing with new

Any clues how to remove the lens. The seems to be a third screw, near the radiator housing which is virtually inacessible. (The other two screws which are on the other side facing the signal/indicator light housing were easiest enough to remove once the indicator housing was removed)?
