What do you guys think - Is this totaled?

What do you guys think.
50 mph offset head on collision with a Jeep Liberty. Passenger Airbag deployed, even though there was no passenger in the seat.

Anyway - Just trying to figure out if shes a gonner.

Take care,

Hard to tell, but I've seen worse than this back on the road!

Damage behind the suspension towers doesn't seem bad. Even if the chassis is twisted, it can be straightened on a jig.

Working with brand new parts at dealer labour rates make make it uneconomic. Using good used parts and non-franchise labour can change the the equation.

I had a friend who made a living reshelling Mercs. He did most of his business subcontracting for a franchised dealer.

Well... The accident wasnt my fault

So the Jeeps Insurance is responsible for whatever the outcome may be.

I am just wondering if I should start looking for a new car, or expect a lengthy repair period.

FWIW : The passenger side front tire is pushed deeply into the wheel well, so I suspect severe suspension damage, as well as obvious frame repairs.

Take care,

Your car is a 1996 C-class with 110K? What is the blue book value on such a vehicle? I'm assuming somewhere in the $teens.
If I'm right, your insurance company will probably total it for economic reasons.

Can it be repaired? I think a look underneath will tell the tale. If you can, walk away from it. If not, expect that the old girl will be at the body shop for a month.
