Floor mats
I am looking to replace the floor mats in my c220. I would prefer something that is more resistant (sturdier, given the vagaries of living in the great white north) than the OEM variety, but at the same time remaining "in character" for MB.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Well if you're dealing with snow and the like, then I would say go with rubber floor mats, the ones with the lip all the way around to crap doesn't get on your carpet. Just pick them up out of your car, hose em off and you're done. Use those in the winter and then in the summer use the nice OEM ones. Check out www.************************ they have quite a few different kinds of mats, at least for my 126, can't imagine why they wouldn't for your C.

I understand that Lloyd's makes high quality mats. Other members with impeccable taste use them (I believe -fad has a set, for example). lloydsmats.com

Concerning OEM floor mats, I recently purchased new ones for my 92 400E, and
the new mats are about half the weight of my old mats. They may be as good in resistant, but the quality is much less; my next set (soon) will be a good set of Lloyd mats. enjoy your drive, timreid
