where should I go for alignment

Hey everyone. My steering wheel on the e420 seems to be about 3-4 degrees off center to the right. The Goodyear Eagle tires seem to have some wear on the outside too. Does this sound like alignment issues? The car doesn't pull one way or another.

I took it by Meineke and the dimwit said he couldn't work on it. Said it was a "grey" market car and I'd have to take it to the money grubbin dealership. What's he talking about?

Thanks!

your best bet is to take it to the dealership or lookup someone who has the approved Hunter equipment but try to find out if they have a good rep. it's usually less than $100 assuming no worn parts that need replacing...

It is best to take it to the dealer.

Hunter is a company that produces the alignment machines that many shops use for most cars, but Hunter produces a special machine that is modified specifically for use on our cars.

You also need to use a spread bar to "pre-load" the suspension to properly align it, too.

I tried several tire shops who said they could do the alignment anyway, but it was a waste of money. It was never right.

I think I paid about $100 at the dealer, but it was well worth the money. It was over a year ago, and the car tracks perfectly straight.
