My car is an '87 300D Euro 4matic sedan, and I'd like to know where these air intake vents are located so that I can check if they're functioning. The recirculating switch is OK electrically, so it must be a wiring or a mechanical problem. Are these vents vacuum controlled too?

As always, thanks a lot to you all.

The easiest way would be to remove the glove box. The recirc. flap should be visible there.
