Flushing Brand New Rebuilt 240D Engine

I am reusing the Oil Filter Housing, hoses and lube oil cooler from the 83 240D Engine that siezed.(I took the entire assembly off as one to avoid breaking the 4 nuts wouhich would ruin the hoses) I am also concerned that my newly rebuilt junkyard engine has junk in the block oil galleys from its time in the Junkyard.
How do I flush a newly rebuilt engine? Is it even possible--Could I hook an electric drill chuck up to the oil pump drive gear through the 27mm bolt hole? Could I also Prelube using this trick?

The machine shop doing the work on your engine block should have, as a matter of standard practice, "hot tanked" the block. This means that they immerse the entire block in a large vat of chemicals which aggressively strips the block of all debris inside and out.
