OK, I'm inside the fuel distributor now!! What IS all this stuff!!
I wanted to show three things in this photo.
#1: Raw gas in the lower chamber of the fuel ditributor #2: The large o ring around the plunger #3: The small seal on the plunger bushing (exact center of photo, turned upside down) Obviously was leaking fuel, so, is the seal on the bushing the culprit? As best I can tell, there is no o ring inside the bushing. The big o ring just seals the fuel distribtor to the housing for vacuum, I think. |

Cap'n,
I just finished installing a "new" to me fuel distributor. I seen those parts LIVE. Most likely your distributor is leaking from the seal from the control pluger. If you have the CD, it is job #07.3-1660. Just change both seals and you chould be good to go. Readjusting the fuel distributor is a different story.
![]() I hope it helps!
