I was out on HWY I85 I had to pass a couple of people got my 190 up to 100mph. It seemed to hit a brick wall I wasn't near redlining but I couldn't pull any harder. What gives I thought my car was going to die ?

Could also be a lot of things but I'd start with the plug wires if the problem is getting to high revs under load.
