scratched windscreen...help!

Hello all! Im new here and I love this site.Very helpful indeed.
I have a scratch on my windscreen(not deep) that came from a little pebble stuck on my wiper blade and when I turned on my wiper it left a streak from wiper resting position to behind the rear view mirror.
Can this be buffed out?
