12v 2amp Vs 12v 6amp

Thanks for the reply, the battery is actually being charged on my porch, the only extension cord which I have is being used by my engine block heater (!!) since tonight's temperature will drop to 0F here in Minneapolis. I will be checking the battery periodically for over-heating. The charger actually has a small scale which shows when the battery is fully charged. My mistery is that when I switch the button to 12V 2AMP the scale shows that the battery is almost fully charged and when I switch it to 12V 6AMP the scale shows that the battery is only about 50% charged. I know that the battery is barely charged but if I did not know that which scale would I believe?

Thanks, Igor.
