need part number...

I have a 1988 190e and when I hit a curb this part fell off my bumper and I was wondering what the part number is, so i can try to order it off the partsshop instead of getting it from my dealer.

Towing bracket cover flap. 201 880 09 05. I believe?? I would call Phil, rather than just send the # in, as he would be sure. May be a dealer-only part; sometimes best sourced at a wrecker's yard.

Get that one on eBay! Just got one for my E-class the other week and it was $60 . . . and unpainted.

Did get mine from a dealership! Don't think their prices vary across the country. At least at the Thousand Oaks, California dealership, with tax the price was right around $60.00. It is possible that the W124 tow cover is more expensive than those on the 190's.
