differential fluid for ASR W210
What fluid should I use for a 97 E420 with ASR?
I am unclear on whether ASR has or doesn't have limited slip differential. Clarify this for me, please. Also clarify that I need a 14mm socket.

THe proper fluid will be listed in your owner's manual. It's a high viscosity oil. It is simply the differential oil.

oil
just regular gear oil (80-90w) will work fine.
the ASR uses the rear brake calipers to stop a spinning wheel, so there is no limited slip. nothing special or expensive. |
