My car is an '87 300D Euro 4matic. Problem is my turn signal lever (combination switch) sometimes doesn't release or return to neutral after making a turn.
Also, it seems that I need to oversteer to the left after making a turn in order to get the turn signal lever to release. I've had my combination switch replaced, checked the steering box's pitmas shaft center position, and had the wheels aligned, but the problem persists. What could possibly be wrong here? Thanks a lot. |

There is a clip and bearing retainer that relies on correct positioning to cancel the blinkers. There is something wrong here.

How do I gain access to this clip and bearing retainer? Will removing the steering wheel allow me to reset these parts?
Thanks. ------------------ Jake |
