Do side mirrors fold on a '95 E420?

I wonder if my side mirrors fold to either direction. I don't want to try to bend them if they don't. anyone knows

I do not believe they do, however they are designed to breakaway in the event of a pedestrian impact.

They don't "fold" but they will move both backwards and forwards. By moving them you can expose the areas to be lubed.

Keep us posted,

I heard that the mirrors on a 190E bend, which way exactly? I tried moving them one way and the other, but I'm afraid of breaking them off.

My mom hit my passanger side mirror against the garage door when she was pulling out one day and now the electronic switch won't adjust it left and right, only up and down, I want to take it off and see if I can fix it.
