Could be a bad belt on one of the tires. Try rotating front to back and see what happens. Moving the bad tire to the back will help but, you may need a new tire.

Changed all tires and got worse
the only thing that i can think of is that the front rotors were turned and maybe out of ballance ive tried everything to rotating f/ to r/ even put the old 14in wheels in front and then switched to the rear still viberations have you experenced anything like this ? ------------------ KEITH |

Find a shop that can strobe balance your wheels on the car,This balances the complete mass. It sounds like a bad brake rotor.

You indicated that you put on new 8-hole, 16" rims. Were these brand-new from a reputable wheel manufacturer ?? An out-of-round wheel is sometimes next to impossible to balance throughout the entire mph band. If you suspect that this maybe the cause, dismount the tires and get a shop to due a dial-runout to check the "trueness" of your rims. Just one of those subtleties that very few think to consider since one would expect a rim to be manufactured properly.

Also check the front wheel bearings for out of adjustment play. |

The 16" wheels (Benz OEM) will not fit on a 126 car. The steering linkage interferes with the ID of the rim. This knocks off the weights on the inside of the rim. Voice of experience. A hub centric spacer of 5mm will correct.

i did adjust the steering linkage to obtain a slight toe in ( about an 1/8in) could that have played a part in the vibes
and does anyone know the parrameters for the adjustment im going to set it back to what was on the car before the new wheels and no the steering linkage is not interfering with the wheels i have about 3/4 in of clearance from anything that would be hitting it ------------------ KEITH |
