Vent on Passenger Side Broken

I have a 1989 190 2.6 that has a broken vent on the passenger side. My kids took off the button that opens and closes the vent and then the metal arm the button was attached to fell in the vent. How do I take the vent off to get to the arm so I reattach my button.

You have to remove the underdash panel on the passenger side, then remove the plastic vent ducting, then you can push the vent out from the back. The flexible ducting is pressure fit to the vent and the console source.
