need some help please
if someone could please inform me what i blew up i have a 93 400sel and the battery went dead so a friend of mine and i jump started it and on the end that was connected to my car was reversed so it shorted out then i went and got a brand new battery put it in and still did not start i have lights, radio, fan, power everywere and the battery was checked and it was good but no power to starter to turn the car over my question is that i checked the 2 fuse boxes one in the trunk and the other in the engine compartment and all the fuses are ok is there any other place to check ?

Check the fuses in the Base Module. Under the hood, where the battery USED to be , you'll find the module box. Remove the lid and you'll see one of the modules has a number of fuses plugged into it. You don't need to remove the module, just pull the fuses out to check them. Remove them one at a time to make sure they go back in the same spot they came from. Good luck

thanks for the information but none of those fuses were blown either any other information would be much appreciated thank you left the vehicle alone for a couple of days and the car started i let it run for a while no problems then i turned the car off and the car once again will not start .i need some help please
