My 190 stalls occasionally when shifting from reverse to drive and visa varsa. When it does occur it usually happens several times. The idle is about 800 rpm and is smooth. It occurs more frequently when engine temp goes above 80C and/or when the AC is on.

Many times the problem is related to "overvoltage" relay failure. Take a look at the search feature on stalling problems.

MB DOC is right. Also check the temp sensor for the CIS-E control located on the head. You may need to get the 201 CD from us out of partsshop. It has all of the info for the DIY you will need.
