Angry M103 Skip

About a week ago my 89 300SEL started skipping when the car had been parked for about an hour or longer. I have searched old threads and have not turned up anything that I can use. The engine has new injectors, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. It has also had a new air flow meter and all new sensors and relays. The skip will last for about 10 sec. or less but does it every time. I have also ran BG44 in it twice. It does not seem to mind if it is warm or cool out side. The skip is light to medium when it does it. The plugs, wires and cap were done to eliminate the skip, the rest of the parts were done about 3000 miles ago. The car has 163k on it.

Sounds like a injector is bleeding off on hot soak. Not all that unusual. You can pull the injectors and take 'em to someone who has a bench tester for testing. (and sometimes you can fix 'em this way as well, blows the trash out)

I've run into a few slightly leaking fuel pump check valves doing this as well, but that is normally accompanied by a hard start on hot soak, some black smoke and skipping on start.44K is a great product but, 40psi is not enough to dislodge the trash most of the time.

Thanks Joe, I guess it is possible for a new injector to be leaking. There easy enough to take out. I will get them checked. Thats cheaper than a fuel distributor.
