I had occaision to use my foglights the other day. Never used them before and I was pleased at their beams lighting up the edge of the road. Any chance I could take off the yellow lenses and use them as driving lights?

Related Question -- I also have the same fog lights, except after 241K miles and 15 years use, the fog light glass lenses are severly pitted. Does anyone know of a source for obtaining just the amber lense vice the entire fog light assembly ?? Thanks.

Both questions. Not that I am aware of. To remove the tent, you have to take off the lens and break off the yellow reflector.
The yellow reflector is not a seperate piece that I know of. ------------------ Benzmac: 1981 280GE SWB 1987 16V ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
