hi, have changed the distributor cap, rotor arm and contact point. the rough idle has improved but is still there. It's a regular pulse so presume it's gotta be one or two of the cylinders that ain't firing properly at low idle.
is there any particular thing I should pay attention to when installing the contact point? And guess the next thing to smooth it out that I should be looking at are the ignition wires? tks. |
Points have to be set up using a dwell meter. Do not rely on the old gap method.
