93 400sel 140 chassis 4.2l

I have this car in the shop that has a code in the DM (but nowhere else) no. 19 injectors ->lhi-sfi, and all the info I can find on this says code 19 isnt used, I also repaired a faulty crank sensor but still have this code and after clearing It sets on a hot start, where can I go from here?

Code 19 on that system means that the fuel computer isn't making adjustments to the fuel mixture OR there is a short in the injector circuit. You need to view live data for adaption figures to see what the problem is.

Code for crank sensor from the DI at pin # 17 is always there WHEN the engine isn't running.

The owners of this site, Donnie Drummonds (Benzmac) and Bill Wood (Moderator), have their own shop called MB Autowerks, in Sugar Hill.

It might be worth the drive....
