Angry Star vandalism

Vandals pulled off the star on both the grille and the trunk.
As this happened to me before, I don't want to replace them anymore. For the front star, I know there's a chrome cap that can be installed on the opening where the star is mounted.

Do you know of any alternative for the star on the trunk? Its got three empty plastic plug-holes at the moment.

Thanks.

Hood Ornament

Vronsky. I too live in an area where high school kids get a Real Kick out of wearing hood ornaments around their necks. I know what I would like to do to their necks. Anyway, I purchased a Hood Ornament Alarm From ACP. Pretty slick; it can be wired into alarm system or wired to your horn: comes complete with harness, wires, & fuse. Under $20.00. Their phone number is 800-992-2018.
I am not affiliated with ACP in any way, just passing on a product I found works for me. Regarding the rear star, perhaps they have something. I am clueless.

You could probably have a bodyshop fill and paint over the holes in the trunk. That would probably look the best. Less expensively, you could do it yourself. I haven't head of anything to replace the rear star with....

It's sad to see them ripped off....

If it were me, I'd get the alarm for star.

I loooove looking down the hood at the Star emblem. Just wouldn't be the same without it.

Cool

There is a hood star available that is removable...just pull it out and put in the car or your pocket when you leave the car in an area that might be a problem. They can be purchased at
think for around $45. The company also sells the regular hood star replacements for about $18. I purchased one....the quallity is good.

Hey Rogue, perhaps we could reattach the Star to the hood while it was still around their necks, that way we'd have not one but TWO hood ornaments (and might even serve as a deterent to others to rip one off in the first place)

Mine is supposed to lean back a little but I stand it up for a better view while I cruise the highways here in Middle Georgia
