"Express down" window
I have a '89 300TE, can you convert the driver's window to "express down" as later models? If so what does it take?

Some members will say yes, others will say no. I say no, because it's not practical. You'd need to replace the wiring harness, switches, and Convenience Control Unit, etc. Lots of work/$$$. I'm not sure, but the harness is probably for the whole interior. There's probably more stuff that I missed too. Let's see what everybody else says'.

Bergwerks sells a two window "one-touch" kit for $100. They also have a keyless entry system that will integrate with the one-touch system so that you can lock the car and the windows will roll up automatically.
