Simple Spark Plug Question 300E

So I went to check out my plugs satuday. But I couldn't seem to get them out. This is the one simple task I've never done, so i don't really know if they should be so tight... I just don't want to break anything trying to take them out. Should i use some penetrating oil ie. WD40?
Thanks

They are taper seat design and take a fair amount of breakaway torque. Always install them with a torque wrench to 10-12 lb-ft.

.......... and you may want to apply a little anti-sieze compund to the threads of the replacement plugs before installing them.

We're talking plugs, not plug wires, right?

The plug wires require either the special MB tool (or a pair of pliers, in a pinch) for removal. Otherwise you can break the holder(s).

And yeah, over a several-thousand mile period, the differing alloys of the spark plug and cylinder head coupled with heat creates a chemical reaction that essentially "welds" the plugs to the head...hence the herculean effort required to remove them!
