Turbo maybe?
I have a couple of questions. I used search couldnt find anything about either of these topics. I was wondering why it takes like 5 seconds for my car to move? I am assuming that it is the time for the turbo to spool up. But shouldn't teh engine help out? Also my blinker bar is messed up. Whenever I press down on it, it blinks the left blinker as it should. HOwever it doesnt blink when I pull up. Whats wrong with it?

Do a search on ALDA. There'll be a ton of hits but most will cover some aspect of checking and cleaning the signal line that tells the injection pump to accommodate the extra air provided by the turbo.
My SD is surprisingly perky off the line. The rear really squats when you get on it. After that I wallow in my own smoke until the turbo kicks in Sixto 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD |

Yes, a properly tuned SD (assuming mine qualifies as such) actually is peppy for the first 20 feet or so off the line. Your 0-60 time should be around 16 seconds if you have a 126, a bit faster if you have a 116. Before you mess with the ALDA try cleaning out your banjo bolt. It can get clogged up and rob you of boost, so your turbo isn't effective. Here's a pic from Thomaspin's site. It, and the pics that follow should help you out....
Good Luck.
