Will W201 Sportline or W210 seats directly bolt into a W124

Anyone have any knowleged here? Looking into seating alternatives for my 400e. TIA

Forget the W201 Sportline seats

I wouldn't bother with the W201 Sportline seats, they look more comfortable than they are. It took me quite some time to find a seat position in my 190E Sportline that did not cause lower back pain on a long journey. I find the seats in our W124 300TE to be more comfortable, although they are electric and the driver's seat has the orthopeadic backrest (with inflatable cushions that make use of the central locking supply pump).

The 190E Sportline seats are extremely narrow -- my 5'2" 90-pound daughter fits fine in hers, but a widebody would have trouble.

190E Sportline seats

c43amg sums it up well, they are narrow seats with high sides. I'm about 75kg (160 pounds) and they fit me snugly. It is the first car I have owned where I am uncomfortable if I don't remove my wallet from my back pocket. My father who is slightly more solid than me found the seats uncomfortable.

Having said this, you don't slip around in them. The rear seats in the 190E Sportline would have to be one of the most comfortable I have ever sat in. They are also two well shaped buckets (fortunately, we have only two kids) and really do feel good, although I have not sat in them for a long period.
