On my 88 300sel, when I start in the morning, the rpm varies from 500 to 1500 back & forth and I can feel a slight hesitation at highway speeds when warm.I also notice a fluctuation on the vacuum(economy) gauge. Should I be looking at the ignition? or possibly the fuel filter? We purchased it used and I've yet to do either on the car so far. Thanks
