'94 E320 W124 Transmission "gear up" delay?
Ok here's my "problem." I'm in park, I put it in Drive, and then I have to wait about 2 seconds for it to get into gear. Then it's the same thing if I get it in reverse.
Basically it goes like this: I put it in D. 1 - - - 2 ::car goes into gear:: IS that normal?

Not sure if 2 seconds is normal or not but if the delay gets longer you may need a tranny rebuild.
Scott (run.exe) had to rebuild his tranny when it took 4 seconds to go into reverse. |

Not really sure how much it costs. but tranny rebuilds always seem to be a couple of G's, depending on cisrcumstances.
You may want to check with your indy or the local stealership to see if this is normal. They could tell you pretty quickly. Also what's up with your sisters fans??? |

Yea it's not a full 2 seconds, but still kinda lags. Seems that it's been this way fromt he get-go too so it might be normal. The 202 fans missing is normal. Turns out it's in '99 that they dont have fans up there so it's all good
