S320 - what's wrong with this picture?
Shouldn't there be MB wording or a logo on the valve cover of a 95 S320? Should that stuff in front of the valve cover be exposed?

my car is a c200 1997.
it has a small,black plastic cover at the front where you have a camshaft seal cover and a temp sensor. do not know what exactly is missing from your car,you could ask a friend who owns a similar car or repair shop to show you a car for more info.

Hi sixto, the valve cover looks fine. There's a cover missing at the front though. The exposed parts ( cam advance magnet, switch-over valves, etc ) aren't in any danger. The cover is purely for aesthetics. It's probably dirt cheap and installs in seconds.

Just checked my 95 S320. The part number of the missing cover is
104 150 00 66 It is black with the MB logo and covers the bits at the front of the head. It snaps on/off in about 2 seconds - no tools.
