Door Locks stopped working
With the help from this forum I just repaired and reinstalled my right front window regulator. However , now my door locks won't work. Could I have damaged a vaccuum line in the process?
Would appreciate any advice you may have.

I live on a dirt road and every now and then my locks seize up too, when this happens I take out the little pump in question and spray a little teflon in there work it back and forth, it works
everytime |

sorry, but I don't know which little pump you are talking about.
I am afraid I am totally new to this vacuum stuff.

Are there any other symptoms? My locks quit working and I encountered a few other "strange" things like the power antenna only working intermittantly. I pulled the console and redid the main ground connections under the ashtray. Voila!! Everything went back to normal. I guess the gist of this story is that Mercedes are very susceptable to grounding problems and it can cause all kinds of wierd, seemingly unrelated things to happen.

This may sound too obvious...
...but have you checked all the fuses? Sometimes when doing electrical work in one area, you risk shorting out wires and then another component is affected. So check the fuses and hopefully this will solve your problems.
good luck

Thanks to all again, especially BENZ-LGB. It was indeed the fuse.
Being a novice I did not relate electricity to vacuum problems. Anyway that was all it was, one little fuse.
