If you haven't already tried, pull fuse #9 in the boot/trunk fuse panel. Give it a minute then rest the fuse.
This should reset the system, and hopefully fix your problem.

and this is the pump that does the pulling. If fuse #9 does the trick of fixing, and if you have a faulty pump, this problem will re-visit you very soon. Its a common problem and this pump is the replacement.

hay vince,

did you ended up fixing your problem? Did you too have to replace your pump? If so which one did you replace it with? the 140 800 08 48 or the 140 800 17 48?

I am asking because the 08 48 pump is for early model while the 17 48 pump is for later model. They are priced different, and I do mean some difference.

I would like to install the 17 48 in my early 140 but wanted to get assurance from members that they have had no problems before proceeding. I already got one member telling me its OK, I just like to get more....

cheers

Hi H_Shek,

I did not replace the pump in mine as it is only one dooe that and teh trunk that occasionly do not pull in. All other doors are fine, so it is not the pump. A reset of fuse fixes the door forr a while. Not sure why the trunk is not working but will look at it when I have time.
