Question

Dirver mirror lens

I have a 1990 E430 and the lens on the driver side mirror is developing bronze colored spots.The passenger side is ok. Can the lens be replaced without having to buy the whole assembly?

Yes, the lens can be replaced. Most auto glass shops either have or can order the pre-cut mirror with the anti-reflection coating.
