oil quantity for 300D

Thanks for the info on the cannister lid but I forgot to ask what quantity of oil I will need. Do you recommend any tipe and visc.-I am just outside of Toronto, Ont.

Which 300D do you own? For the five cylinder, you need 8 quarts and for the 6 cylinder, you need 8.5 quarts. I recommend Castrol GTX 10W-40 for year-round use. Works well for me.
