Question Replacing W124 Door Seals?

I'm considering purchasing new door seals for my W124 and was wondering how difficult it will be for me to do the job. My passenger side seal has a tear near the top from the previous owner so I figure I will replace both front doors first.

Has anyone done this and can they provide a step by step procedure?

BTW I tried a search but didn't come up with anything specific for the W124. Any help would be really appreciated.

Post Door Seals

Afshin, The Door Seals are Easy..Just Remove the Pin on The Door Check strap..So The Seal will Pass over it.. then peel off the old seal and prep the door Channel and Install the New seal...Use BLACK 3m Glue

Thanks Mark!

So I have one more question. When you say prep, what would you use to prep. Just rubbing alcohol? Will the glue from the previous seal remain on the door and does it come off easily?

Thanks again.....yet another project to do in the next couple of months.

Post Door Seals

Afshin, Its all In The Prep..Use a Good Glue Remover on the Channel. Its Labor Intensive! To Remove the old glue..But Its a Must..So The Seal will Fit Into the Door.
