Driver's seat repaiir

My 84 3800SE driver's seat has been moving on its own, forcing me to remove the fuse temporarily for safety reasons. Now the car has failed inspection because the seat bottom and back are separating. There's about an inch or two of space between the two.
Can anyone help with these two problems?
