Idle Control Valve Location

I have a 1984 500 SEL. can anyone tell me where the ICV is located? What's it look like?

Hi Bobl84,

this picture is from an '87 420 SEL, but I think this should look the same on yours. It is between the distributor cap and the air intake. Has 2 hoses connected to it and a connector at the (left corner) bottom.

You need to take off the air filter to clean/test it.
