hey everyone,
just need some tech advice before i probably spend 1000 at a local mercedes shop.

my oil light keeps comming on but the oil level is near full mark when the engine is quit cool. I check the oil every now and then and it seems that the oil isnt that dirty at all. however, i do need to replace my timing chain because my mileage on the car as of now is close to 205,000 on the same timing chain. on top of that, the front cover gasket is leaking badly. will the timing chain affect the oil light to come on? or is there something else going on?
