96 C280 Compression Check?

Hi,

Trying to get information on the compression check procedure on the 96 C280 with HFM. I want to use the starter to rotate the engine for the test.

It is my understanding that the ignition must be disabled during the test and there is a special prodedure or adapter to prevent damage to the ignition system.

Sir Tools makes an adapter, but I do not know if it applies to this ignition system. See pic

Any information will be helpful.
