What's it cost to get a keyless entry remote programmed?
I bought a used remote for around $10 on ebay. Dealer said he could reprogram it, then said it would be $70 to do it. That seems a bit much to me. Is $70 a fair price? And also, what is involved? Is the remote itself programmed or is the car reprogrammed for the remotes? TIA.

$70 is a very good price to program a remote. The dealer her in Miami(wont say who) charges $130 to program a remote.

Wow! $130 is more than I was quoted for a whole new remote.
