380SL cold hesitation

my 380SL when cold, hesitates when you put your foot on the gas. but once warm runs perfectly. Not sure what the problem is, thermo time switch?

Thanks,

Thermo-time switch only controls the cold-start injector.

Other symtoms are a high idle. once the car warms up to 80C runs like a top with no hesitation. I heard this a commom problem with M117 & M116 engines.
