Air Conditioning

The garage wants $1000 to put in a new condenser and dryer. Parts run about $250 so Im going to try to do it myself.

Has anyone done this and are there any special fitting , tools, tricks etc.

Do I have to remove the radiator to get to the condenser?

Anyone know where I can access a schematic and or DIY info for this?
Thanks for any help

What kind of car is it? Do a search on Thomaspin (spelling?) and you will eventually get to his website that shows the condenser removal/replacement. No matter which car - the dryer is usually pretty easy.
good luck

Come on Jim! Aren't your mind reading skills any better than that?

It never ceases to amaze me that people ask for detailed information, but don't provide so much as the year and model.

Folks, we like to help here, but we need a little more to go on.

Have a great day,
