Does glass sunroof exist for W124 CE??

I can not say I have seen it, but nevertheless it would be nice to know if there is any MB or aftermarket glass sunroof that can replace the two-way steel hatch on a W124 coupé? If so, anyone with experience of the job, price and where to find one? In Europe is even better...

To each his own, but not being able to blot out the sun doesn't fly with me or anyone else I know who has owned one such. Even a convertible allows you to cover up if you're bored with living in the weather.

I think he's talking about the moonroof in the newer benzes, they have a seperate headliner piece that you manually pull to cover the moonroof in case the sun gets too bright .

I'm interested in one for my 300E, If you find a cheap one, I'll take it.

Yes, Moonroof it is, eventhough we call it glass sunroof in europe...
I know that in the newer cars you can replace the steel one with glass and the sliding cover and maybe you have to make some other mods as well, and I have a feeling I have seen a E420 (124) with moonroof, but I am not sure and I don´t know if the sedan and the coupé has the same measurements. So the question remains if someone should know.
Regards
L.

Well If you lived in Miami,Fl I would give you the numbers to places that do this. The places that do it specialize in "Collectible" cars. Their work is really good, but the price is too rich for my blood!
