Driveshaft support bushing and bearing

The driveshaft bushing on my 82 240D is deteriorated and I'd like to replace it myself. It seems like a straight forward job but is there anything I should watch out for?

It is VERY important to keep the front and rear half of the driveshaft properly oriented with each other. Take a can of white paint of something that won't come off and paint a strip down it. It will not be in balance if the splined section is not aligned just like it came apart.
