How much should a Brake job cost on a 300E?
I recently bought a 87' 300e, and would like to change the brake pads for both fron and back.
How much should this cost? At the local MB dealership, they have a special of 95.95CDN to change both pads, not including parts. How much should it cost for parts and labour usually in cdn, at a dealership or at a place like midas. thanks.

That price (Canadian) seens very reasonable.

Changing brake pads on most any Benz is one of the easiest things you can do. Half the problem will be getting the wheel on and off.
Good luck, |

According to Vancouver, BC M-B dealership rates, that price is for around 1 hour of labour...

Oh yea, before you go down that route, decide exactly what pads you would like to put on.
On my next change, I'm going to either PBR Deluxe OR Mintex Red Box. Both will reduce dust significantly. I'll either do it myself or have a local independant Mercedes repair facility do it.
