W140 95 S420 power steeting pump reseal

Lots of questions:

How do I identify which pump I have?

Does a tandem pump imply self-leveling suspension or is the other function ASD?

How difficult is this job?

Does the pump have to come off or can the the key seals be replaced from the front? I suspect it's the main shaft seal but what do I know...

Any special tools needed? alldata.com shows the picture of a special tool puller but it has nothing to do with the main shaft seal.

What is the likelihood that a reseal will do the trick if the symptom is leakage that ends up on the back side of the pulley?

Thanks,
Sixto
