Any Damage Done ?
I was wondering if any damage has been done to my 1993 300E 4Matic. I just found a small leak in one of the 4Matic system's hydraulic hoses, and then after testing the system, I found that the rear differential was in the Locked position all the time. (and believe it or not, there is no snow in Minnesota in July). I think it has been about a week or two with this leak.
Has any damage been done to the rear differential, and when I have the dealer replace the hose, are there any special procedures that should be done, e.g. bleed the system, change the diff fluid ?. thanks.....doug |

Good for you finding it this early! What kind of 'test' did you run?
