Unhappy Any Damage Done ?

I was wondering if any damage has been done to my 1993 300E 4Matic. I just found a small leak in one of the 4Matic system's hydraulic hoses, and then after testing the system, I found that the rear differential was in the Locked position all the time. (and believe it or not, there is no snow in Minnesota in July). I think it has been about a week or two with this leak.

Has any damage been done to the rear differential, and when I have the dealer replace the hose, are there any special procedures that should be done, e.g. bleed the system, change the diff fluid ?. thanks.....doug

Good for you finding it this early! What kind of 'test' did you run?
