OK, I'm lazy - and confused...

The Service Book for my '93 500E shows an upcoming scheduled service (among others) for 45K miles. How do I find out the details of what exactly is scheduled to be done at this (or any) particular interval of scheduled service?

Can I just go thru the maintenance book and look at what is scheduled for shorter intervals (like 15K, etc.) and figure out what should be done at 45K by "adding up" earlier services, or is there a separate list which the dealer has for these types of scheduled services?

I don't want to blindly go to the dealer and have the 45K service done if it consists largely of inspections and/or fluid changes which I have already performed myself.

Thanks for any help or pointers to this info.

Rgds,
Chris W.
