'95 S320 won't shift into 5th gear on Hgwy

My '95 S320 won't shift into 5th gear on Hgwy.
It sometimes does after stopping at a toll and taking off again.
What could be the cause and how can I troubleshoot?
Thanks,
Sab.

The 5th gear is computer/overdrive solenoid controlled. You need to have the computer scanned to find the problem.

Thanks,
Should I go to the dealer, or does someone have a good shop in South Florida?

How far from Gainsville? Steve Brotherton has his shop in Florida, and you'll have a tough time finding a more knowledgable MB tech

I am in North Ft Lauderdale, so Gainsville is really far for me. I would go as far South as Miami and North to Palm Beach.
Thanks,
Sab.

There's a discussion group here called Good MB Shops. You may find suggestions there from members who live in your region.
