MB newbie

First of all thanks for having me. Recently purchased a one owner well maintained 89 300se with 66kmi from an estate. The car tends to 1) miss at idle when hot 2) starts but quickly dies or acts like its running rich on hot starts and 3) poor throttle responce from idle. All have lessened but still there after having driven it 2kmi. Any thoughts? Thanks. Mark

Not sure, but i think the hot start problem may be linked with the Over Voltage Protection relay, do a search for OVP there will be a lot of information

Also check for vacuum leaks.

tkamiya, Took your advice. Changed plugs (which didn't look bad). Had to put a little effert in getting the #6 plug wire on. Miss Is Gone. Thanks. Mark
